--ADF meetings--
The Rev. Joseph Harvey and the Rev. Bernard Le Corn of Florida visited ADF in Los Angeles to discuss Amistad Ship coming to Los Angeles, a Chaka Khan concert, a visit to Africa and an ADF visit to Florida in February 2002.

September 2002
 

--ADF Branching into London--
ADF president and vice president visited to London to establish a chapter in September 24-29, 2002. The delegation had a series of meetings with the executive and a general meeting with the general membership of ADF-London. The delegation was interviewed by KJLH radio Front Page program with ADF-London president.

October 2002
 

--Another ADF Conference--
ADF hosted a mini-conference on Saturday October 19th, 2002 in UCLA's Royce Hall, featuring Dr. Molefe Tsele of the South African Council of Churches, The South African Consulate General - Los Angeles, and the Rev. Joseph Tshawane of the King-Luthuli Transformation Center in Johannesburg, South Africa. The conference centered on the struggle for democracy in Africa, the HIV/AIDS epidemic and the plight of illegal immigrants in America.
