--Collaboration building--
ADF travels to Sacramento to meet with Dr. Ernest Uwazie, Director of California State University, Sacramento's
Center for African Peace and Conflict Resolution (CAPCR). CAPCR faculty offer training in mediation,
negotiation and arbitration, and peace-building, peace-making and conciliation strategies. CAPCR's research and
experience in providing direct services in these areas will be valuable in the development of ADF's Peace Institute.

ADF meets with Dr. Darnell Hunt and Dr. Mark Alleyne, Director and Associate Director (respectively) of the Ralph J.
Bunche Center for African-American Studies at UCLA. Implementation of the ADF Peace Center was the focs of our disscussion.

--Time to Conference--
ADF president, Agrippa Ezozo, sits on a panel of "peacemakers" at the CAPCR's annual conference. This year's topic "African & African American Relations in U.S., Americas and Africa" gives ADF another opportunity to share its solution of solidarity amongst the Diaspora to work together in peace education.
